主要研究方向为纳米材料的制备和表面改性及其在能源领域方面的应用;碳化物、金属基碳化物的合成及其应用;高纯氧化物纳米粉末的合成及其应用。在Nature、ACS Nano、Advanced Materials、Energy and Environmental Science 等杂志上发表第一作者和通讯作者文章多篇。研究成果在Nature、Nature Nanotechnology、Nano Toady、CE&N 和Materials Today 等杂志上也作过相应报道。获4项国内专利和3项国外专利。2007 年获得国家留学基金委“国家优秀自费留学生”奖,2009 年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才计划,2010 年获上海市“浦江人才计划”项目支持。主持多项国家自然基金面上项目。
